Pledging AKPSI is a transformative semester of professional workshops, mentorship from older brothers, case competitions, and friendships that outlast every bullet point on your resume. Here are a few tips from our recruitment team as you come out to rush!
Don't just think about how you want to be remembered during rush, think about who you want to become after. AKPsi opens the door to so many opportunities to grow professionally, academically, and personally, and you don't need to have it all figured out yet. Be curious, ask questions, and look for the people who inspire you to become a better version of yourself. Recruitment is just the beginning, so embrace everything you can learn from it and get excited about where it might take you!

How to dress!
If you have any doubt–lean professional.
Business Professional
Think Conservative.
Navy, black, grey, or nude suit. Jacket should match pants or skirt. Closed-toe shoes, minimalistic jewelry and no overly-flashy jewelry.
Business Casual
Think Moderate.
Brighter colors, subtle patterns, a complementary blazer or sweater. Clean and put together, but a little more flexible.
Recruitment FAQ
Before you apply.
Recruitment consists of an AKPSI-only info session and five nights of rush; two open-invite events and three invite-only events.
Our first two nights, speed dating and mingling, consist of conversations and questions from brothers and other rushees. These nights allow brothers to get first-looks at possible new members in a conversational format, making meaningful connections from the start.
Our invite-only events consist of a case competition, passion pitch, and final interview. Each night is meant to narrow down the most well-rounded candidates, looking for teamwork, character, and authenticity.
While the info session and first two nights are optional, we encourage all rushees to attend each night to get the most looks possible from our brothers.

Come ready to showcase your teamwork and problem-solving skills! While we can’t tell you the format for case competition, viewing sites like managementconsulted.com or hackingthecaseinterview.com can help with general structure, terminology, and principles.
Our case competition is designed so that anyone, regardless of casing experience, major, or year, can solve the business problem given–it is up to you to work well in your team!
